I am not good at titles.
Nathan's full name is Nathan Pohaku Woods. He is pretty proud of his name and says it all the time. Nathan has decided that when he grows up, he will name one of his sons Willy Wonka. He will have another son named Reginald von Hoobie Doobie. (I think those are both better names than Solomon which is what Chris wanted to name Nathan.)
Bethie has picked up on this and goes around calling everyone "Sarah Doobie Doobie" or "Nathan Doobie Doobie." She thinks it's pretty funny. If she is not calling someone "Doobie Doobie," she will call them by Nathan's almost full name. "Ammon Haku Woods" or "Mommy Haku Woods." And we all laugh because she is adorable.
*I think this whole name thing makes our family seem well-read since Willy Wonka and Reginald von Hoobie Doobie are both characters in books.

Okay, perhaps I'm not as well-read as I thought I was. Who the heck is hoobie-doobie?
Clever little Bethie Haku Woods.
Mo Willems wrote "Edwina: the Dinosaur Who Didn't Know She Was Extinct." The main character is Reginald von Hoobie Doobie. It's a good one. Check it out.
I am suddenly a fan of Mo Willems. (Thank you for the books!) We'll have to check that one out.
Also, Nathan and Beth remind me of my sister telling me about her son, around Nathan's age, adding "head" to the end of everything to torment his older sister. Pencilhead, counterhead. I think Nathan is much nicer.
Tyler used to add "head" to everything too. If he really wanted to annoy people he would go around saying "head-duh-head" in weird voices about everything.
