Beth loves to have conversations with people. She will do whatever she can to come up with things to say. Sometimes it's hard for a 2-year-old to think of things to talk to grown-ups about. When Chris gets home from work, she'll follow him around asking him things like, "Are those your keys?" Yes, Beth. They are.
Yesterday, Beth was attempting to chat with Grandma and Grandpa. She looked at Grandpa and said, "Are you standing there?" Yes, Beth. He was.
Last week, Beth was enjoying a lengthy conversation with her 15-year-old cousin, Jamison. He was really cute interacting with her. Beth, apparently, ran out of things to say. She said, "I have a rash on my bottom." Jamison just looked at her. He had no idea how to respond. So Beth repeated it. (You have to respond to Beth or she just repeats the sentence over and over.) Finally, after she informed him of said rash the third time, Jamison said, "Cool." And Beth was satisfied.

Jamison was so flustered. He really didn't know how to respond. We've all been laughing about it ever since. Love that girl!
That's funny! At least now we all know how to respond, thanks to Jamison. :-)
Guys! This is something Beth and I have in common!
