It's Autumn Time, It's Autumn Time. The leaves are falling down.

Not my favorite song, that one. But it is a true sentiment. I have been wanting to drive the Alpine Loop for weeks. We finally had some free time this afternoon to go together as a family. We were a little late. The aspens were bare. But it was still pretty. Pictures? Why not?!

Sarah's leaf collection. So pretty.

It's pretty even without all the colors, right? Right.

Why can't I get my kids to cooperate for pictures? Liz can do it.

Doesn't this look like it should be the cover to a children's cd or something?

Sarah loves the camera. Ammon does not.

Awww.

Sometimes, we just have to have proof that I am with the family.
(Trust me, I'm always there.)

Ammon cooperated!!!
And look at the beautiful cascading springs behind him.

Cascade Springs in not all, but some of its glory.

Aren't they cute together?

What did she find? I think it was a leaf.

Beautiful. Yes it is.

Love the pics. We missed the leaves on the Alpine Loop too, but the view is still breathtaking.

Lovely post. I don't have canyons to go up where we live but we have oaks and maples in our yard and on post that are just lovely right now. I need to take some pictures.
