Chestnuts and baling wire...

We used to call them Chestnut Men, but it turns out, the tree is an Ohio Buckeye tree, so now they must be Ohio Buckeye Men. My sister, Brynn, and I like to make these funny little guys. We're going to attempt to sell them at a boutique. We will attach halos and wings to some to make them Chestnut Angels for hanging on the Christmas tree. Um...maybe you can tell I don't have much to blog about today.

Aren't they funny? I love them. Brynn invented them and I just mimic her creativity.

This one (by Brynn) has extra long legs, so Brynn dubbed him a Marsh-wiggle. It's a friend of Puddleglum's.

Oh, this poor little guy. Brynn ran out of wire and couldn't give him two feet. She said, "Oh, look. It's a Vietnam vet." When we give the other ones halos and wings, we will give this guy a Purple Heart.

And that is what we did with our free time yesterday. Rachel was there, too. She made the brownies. Bless her.
