Christmas advent

I better post early today since tonight is a big football game and I will be busy. If someone can teach me how to properly post a youtube video, I would love that. In the meantime, let's have some fun. Remember yesterday? I wrote about my mission Christmases. I mentioned the haka. Haka is the traditional dance form of the Maori people from Aetorea (New Zealand). There are different haka, sometimes used as a war dance, but also for celebration. Today, I would like to show you all a celebratory haka. It's even Christmas-y. This one's for the kids. And if you want to see a proper haka, you should watch the All Blacks. New Zealand All Blacks are a rugby team who perform a haka prior to each match. It intimidates the other players. And here's one in traditional Maori dress. What does this have to do with Christmas? Everything if you've spent Christmas with Maoris before (or spent Christmas with Samoans who grew up in New Zealand). Enjoy. Tomorrow I will be properly religious again.

To post a video: When you are in youtube, there's a code that says "embed." Copy the code. Then, where you enter a post, click on Edit HTML and paste the code. It should work. If not, I didn't tell you anything. :-)

And now we have watched all three hakas. That gingerbread one is a big hit! Thanks for sharing.
