When Ammon was little, he colored everything green. It was the only color he ever used. Then we got Sarah. Sarah can never decide on a favorite color because she loves them all. She switches everyday. This carries over into personality. Ammon, for the most part, is even-tempered and consistent. Sarah is much more colorful. Sarah likes to wear bright colors--lots of different ones at the same time. She likes to be loud and dramatic. Whether she is happy or sad or mad or excited, she expresses her emotion with oh, so much color.
Today we had a singing class. There are eight children in the class. Sarah's facial expressions and actions and singing make her so fun to watch. She loves to perform. But, ironically, she is terrified to perform in front of an audience.
Here is one of Sarah's recent drawings. I think she puts a lot of personal expression into her art. This is a princess in front of her castle. The princess is giving flowers to her friend.

The skirt is perfect! Love the squiggles in it. And Sarah is dramatic, isn't she? It's part of what makes her so loveable.
