During Family Home Evening tonight, we were taking turns reading from the scriptures. Bethie opened a copy of the Book of Mormon and read, "Heavenly Father gave us candy." Then she looked up at us and added her testimony: "Heavenly Father gave us candy!" And then we all ate candy.

At our family home evening, Carson said the prayer. He thanked Heavenly Father that we are going to Disneyland. We did not go to Disneyland tonight. I guess candy is easier than Disneyland.
Um, where exactly was she reading? I'd really like scriptural approval for eating candy. :-)
