I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought;
and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.

Somewhere in my mind I realized that October was drawing to an end, but the idea that it's already November is still shocking. I enjoyed keeping a daily gratitude blog last November and thought I'd try it again. I think this is more for me than anyone else, but here goes.
Today was a little chilly. It rained and then the rain mixed with snow. We had to wear socks and jackets. It made me very grateful for a long and pleasant autumn time this year. Often in Utah, it seems that summer switches abruptly to winter with little in-between. This year, the summer felt definitely over by Labor Day, but the world hasn't turned to ice yet. The autumn colors have been vibrant (thanks to a very wet, rainy springtime) and the weather has been perfect. I am grateful for changing seasons and today, especially grateful for autumn.
